Winter clothing for ice skating

Our Viking boys hugely enjoyed ice skating in Hampton Court in their ski suit and all-in-one snowsuit which kept them nice and dry!

Chance encounter on Christmas Day!

Out for a bracing stroll on Christmas Day we were very excited to bump into an unmistakeable young VikingKids customer in his green allweather coat. As it turned out, he wasn't a local but visiting all the way from Glasgow! A big wave from us to Angus and Mum Helen - it was lovely to meet you!















Meanwhile, our 6-month-old puppy made a fast friend in their gorgeous 4-month old whirlwind, Jessie. Enzo is the black blur on the left, Jessie on the right.

Lovely baby girl in funky velvet outfit

We've received the most adorable picture of cheeky Mollie in her striped romper suit and matching hat by Juliet. Mum Lara writes "I was out shopping with my baby girl today and was stopped at least TEN times by different people commenting on her outfit!!!!!!!" We're not surprised - she looks just too cute - and so comfy too! Thank you Lara for sharing.

Winter coat and hat in action in Glasgow!

We absolutely love this photo of Joseph (age 3 ½) all cosy with his new hat & winter jacket! This is clearly a determined young man who is going places - and now he's equipped for any weather! It just happens to be our own favourite bright green too - here at VikingKids we never seem to tire of this funky, unisex colour.

Winter is here and we've dug out the children's warm coats!

With a Mum who's obsessed with taking pictures of children in colourful clothing, is it any wonder that the 5-year-old is a budding photographer?

Winter has well and truly arrived here in London with a frosty morning turning into a cold, crisp day. We're delighted that the comfy bright green jacket that was such a hit last year is still a perfect fit - this is why we like leaving some room for growth, especially for outdoor clothing. Our range of fully waterproof winter clothing should give the wearer at least two seasons' use. Our winter coats and snowsuits are also so hardwearing that they'll still be as new when it's the next sibling's turn to enjoy them!

We're incredibly excited about all the new lovely clothes from Moonkids Wear! The rich colours and soft, playful materials like velvet and stretchy ribbed cotton are just perfect for the festive season. Little girls will want to wear this vibrant red dress on Christmas Day and all through the holidays because it's so comfortable.




All of us here wish that they made the cosy velvet hoody and matching trousers in adult sizes too, for lazying around by the fire - although the children will almost certainly be running and jumping around in theirs!






Our favourite though has to be the gorgeous, cuddly velvet baby rompers with cute striped cuffs - the perfect Christmas outfit for cool babies and also a lovely gift. Or for a funkier look, how about the ribbed cotton baby overalls with colourful stripes?

Sightseeing in the rain

We just had to share this gorgeous picture of brothers Lucas and Leon braving the wet weather to explore London in their funky rain suits! Younger brother Gabriel also has one, so it's a whole family of colourful VikingKids!

Enjoying November in our wet weather gear

Today, as so often happens in South West London, the grey weather and heavy rain gave way to a sunny, blustery autumn afternoon - our favourite kind! On with the waterproofs and off we went. As long as you're wearing the right all-weather clothing there is just nothing better than a brisk walk with the children and the dog on a Sunday (or any day)!


What you can't see is that about 3 seconds later the 3-year-old flew headlong into the puddle - and emerged with a big grin. This is exactly why he (and we!) loves his rain set by Danish Elka! It's made of tough material, just like him - and it needs to be as he tests it to the limit...

Hello from VikingKids - children's clothing from Scandinavia!

We spent a most enjoyable time yesterday at the Home Enterprise Day - a big thank you to Emma Jones of Enterprise Nation!

Keynote speaker Doug Richard (former Dragon) instructed us to start a blog about our Scandinavian children's clothing so here we are! The plan is to keep you updated of new additions to our range of children's outdoor wear and colourful baby clothes and also of sales and other exciting events. We'll also share photos of children having a lot of fun in their waterproofs and other clothes for active play - we'll be most grateful if you'd like to send us more!
